For care teams evaluating Bonsai

Set the plan. Review activity and feedback.

The Care Portal demo lets clinicians explore plan setup and follow-up using fictional example data. Bonsai is pre-production; these examples do not establish better care or outcomes.

Access to a care record requires an active link to that patient, not just a job title.

External research · not Bonsai results

Adherence needs context, not blame.

Evidence boundaryExternal research describes different problems and populations, not Bonsai study results. Bonsai is pre-production; improved dosing accuracy, adherence, and outcomes have not been established.

Following a prescription

About 50%

Of filled prescriptions are taken incorrectly with respect to timing, dosage, frequency, or duration.

Study context

A historical estimate cited in a CDC MMWR review published November 17, 2017.

Scope and limits.

The denominator is filled prescriptions, not people. This is a historical review estimate, not a present-day census or a cannabis-specific finding.

What this supports—and does not

Adherence is affected by cost, access, instructions, and side effects. These barriers call for support, not blame. This review did not evaluate Bonsai.

The care-team workflow

Plan, review, follow up.

Start with the work a clinician can explore. Account and device support remain separate.

Plan setup

Set the amount per session, daily session limit, and duration. The demo applies these limits to simulated sessions.

Session record review

Review linked patients’ uploaded activity and feedback alongside the plan. Records still on a phone are not visible.

Safety follow-up

Review flagged side-effect reports from linked patients. A flag does not mean a clinician has already reviewed it.

Account and device support

Support and administrators handle accounts and devices. Neither role alone grants access to patient care records.

Who can see what

Who can open a patient record?

Care access depends on the current patient relationship. Research and account-management views are separate.

Who can review

Access starts with the patient record.

Patient record

The relationship is the access check.
