About Alleviate Labs

Making care information easier to understand.

We’re developing Bonsai and companion software to bring product details, a clinician’s plan, and session activity together.

A record can help explain what happened. It cannot prove what a person consumed.

Exploded view of the pre-production Bonsai device concept

Bonsai · pre-production concept render

A proposed device, not working hardware or a measure of bodily intake.

Why this matters

Care needs context, not just a number.

A clinician’s plan describes an intention. Device activity describes an event. A person’s feedback adds something neither can explain on its own. Our work brings these perspectives together without making them interchangeable.

The aim is clearer information for a conversation—not an automatic conclusion about care.

Who we build for

For patients and their care teams.

For patients

Details in one place.

See the plan and session history, and add feedback in your own words.

For care teams

Context, not conclusions.

Review uploaded records and feedback. Clinical decisions stay with the care team.

Principles

What guides our work.

  • Name the source. Keep product information, the clinician's plan, device activity, and patient feedback distinct.
  • Make uncertainty visible. Saved on a phone does not mean available to the care team. Patient feedback does not establish an outcome.
  • Keep people in charge of care. The clinician sets limits in the current demo.

What can be verified today

A concept, not a clinical product.

Bonsai is pre-production. The app and Care Portal use fictional example data, not real patients or a live device.

Planned amounts and device activity do not measure intake. Patient feedback is not a verified outcome.

Bonsai is not available for purchase, preorder, prescription, or clinical use. No clinical results, regulatory approval, or certification are claimed.
